2016-17 Honors Housing Contract Renewal

October 30, 2015

In academic year (AY) 2016-2017, the honors residential communities are in Duhme Hall (upper-division students, women only) Third Street Suites (upper-division students) and Honors College and Residences (first-year and upper-division students). This will provide three great locations for our returning Honors College students to continue their honors residential experience.

Who is eligible to live in the honors residential communities?

First-year Honors College students who live in University Residences (on-campus student housing) are required to live in the Honors College community in Honors College and Residences with an Honors College roommate.

Due to high demand for honors housing, we cannot accommodate non-Honors roommates in the honors residential communities. Students who are in good standing with the Honors College will be eligible to renew their housing contract in the honors residential communities.

When will I be able to renew my housing contract in the honors residential communities?

The contract renewal process will begin on November 4th at noon for students who are interested in renewing their contract for their current space. It will continue by academic classification starting on November 12th at 8:30 AM. Important note: If you wish to participate during a particular phase, you should renew your contract as soon as you are eligible or space may not be available once the next phase begins. Starting today, October 30th, please check www.housing.purdue.edu for your specific eligibility date.

Interested in living on-campus, but in a different hall?

You will have an opportunity to reserve others rooms after the conclusion of Honors housing contract renewal. This delay in no way imperils your ability to sign up for non-honors housing.
